About
Ash Fletcher
Founder, Head Coach &
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt
Ash started training in martial arts in 2010 and was awarded his Black belt on the 21/06/21 from 4th degree Black Belt & the first English man to gain their blackbelt from the Gracie family, Ben Poppleton.
He founded Cannock BJJ in 2015 which has now been rebranded under the Gordo Jiu Jitsu organisation.
He is an ex MMA Fighter from Team Kaobon Midlands Gym under UFC veteran Paul Taylor and has had 12 MMA fights which includes fighting for the GPUK middleweight title.
Ash has competed on multiple Jiu Jitsu invitationals such as SUB15, Roll Models, Grapple Fest, Hajimi, Battle Grapple and has won gold/podiumed at the BJJ British Open, Nogi British Open, Hereford Open, All Stars BJJ, Roll Models and many others.

Trev Foster
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Coach & Co-Owner
Trev has over 40 years of experience in a variety of martial arts including Shotokan Karate, Full Contact Karate, Kick Boxing, MMA and Jiu Jitsu. He has also helped coach 4 seasons of white collar boxing for the organisation Zero To Hero.
Over his 40+ years he has competed at various national tournaments and has also been asked to represent his country on the international fight scene.

Trev has been a part of the club since the very early days of Paul Taylor's Pure MMA/Kaobon Midlands established in 2012 on which the foundations of the club are built on and his vast experience of martial arts and willingness to help every member improve all aspects of their game is an asset to our club.
​
Trev is currently a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu and will be at the gym mainly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Alex Brown
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Coach (Gi)
Alex has been training in martial arts for 13 years, firstly in Judo and now 9 years in Jiu Jitsu where he currently holds a brown belt. He has competed all over the UK in his chosen sport hitting the podium every time and winning 5 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals in total.

He has also competed on invitational competitions such as Battle Grapple and Sub 15.
​
Alex has a genuine enthusiasm for the art and is always happy to help any member of the club with all aspects of their game for their self improvement.
About
Brett Reeve
MMA & No-Gi Coach
Brett has been training in martial arts for 14 years and has been competing on the fight scene since 2009 during which time he has built a record of 15 - 2 - 1 with all his victories coming via submission.
​
During his fight career he has won the Battle Arena and Impact Fight UK welterweight championship belt and also won gold medals at the No Gi British open, Roll models, grapple nation and Sub zero. Brett has also had the privilege of competing alongside some of the worlds best at
Grapple Fest.
​
Brett is currently a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu, he is always happy to help anyone at the gym improve all aspects of their game and is an absolute asset to our club.
About
Harry Marple
MMA & No-Gi Coach
Harry has trained in martial arts for 12 years during which time he has a record of 11-0 in amateur bouts winning 3 British titles along the way.
​
He then turned pro and has had 5 professional fights including televised events for the BAMMA organisation at the Birmingham Barclaycard Arena in front of a 10,000 strong crowd.
